De huidige uitstraling van het complex dateert grotendeels uit het midden van de 19e eeuw, waarbij de hoeve in 1854 ingrijpend werd vernieuwd in baksteen, mét behoud van oudere historische elementen. De originele hardstenen sluitsteen met het jaartal 1854 is nog altijd prominent aanwezig boven de poortdoorgang.

Binnen ademt de boerderij authenticiteit dankzij het royale gebruik van hoogwaardige materialen zoals massief eikenhout, Belgisch hardsteen en traditionele houten kozijnen. Diverse historische details zijn bewaard gebleven, waaronder authentieke vakwerkwanden uit de 17e/18e eeuw, oude staldeuren, smeedijzeren gevelankers en een karaktervolle gewelfde wijnkelder. De indrukwekkende vakwerkwand aan de noordzijde van de binnenplaats verwijst nog altijd naar de vroegere vakwerkschuur die ooit deel uitmaakte van het complex.
